We can be seen a whole view of a city area of Shinshiro-city and Toyo river, Sakurabuchi Park when fly away from the Shinshiro sky park of about 600 meters sea level.

Toyo River

Anglers thoroughly enjoy themselves hooking sweetfish while wading in the river. Ayutsuri is one of summer's most poetic attractions in this region.
According to a Ministry of Construction survey, the Toyogawa River is the fourth cleanest river in Japan and many kinds of fish live there, as well as sweetfish. The Toyogawa is loved by the people as the city's 'Mother River.'
The city has various plans to make the Toyogawa's water even cleaner, and is providing facilities such as a park on the riverbank to enable even greater enjoyment of nature.
Shinshiro Park
The Prefectual Shinshiro Park, located in the Omi area, is a general sport facility furnished with a track and field, a baseball field, tennis courts, multipurpose grounds, etc.
Shinshiro paraglider Cup is performed in summer. 
Keeping rich nature of the city alive, is held “Tour de Shinshiro” for the activation of the town by outdoor sports. 
The all-Japan rally championship that the players of the Japanese top-class gather for is held in November.
